When our favourite Russians, Alex and Maria received word that their holiday Visa’s allowing them to travel to Ireland for their wedding in May had been declined. Our barrage of emails and the hourly phonecalls to the Irish consulate which followed ensured that, our bride and groom and their 7 guests got here and we think it made their wedding ceremony in the Martello Tower in Sutton, even more special!

In Cloghan Castle, Galway on July 13th last, when Kate Bento realised she had not worn earrings in at least a year and myself, Caroline Coyne, www.carolinecoynemakeup.ie and Valerie O’Dea, www.hairbyval.com all took turns in re-piercing her ear! One brave and determined lady was our bride that day. No amount of flesh was stopping that earring going in.

When Heather and Chris made the decision to go ahead and get married on the Cliffs of Moher in the teaming rain, last June. We agreed they totally deserved the co-operation of the elements.

There is something so incredible special about renewing your wedding vows and Michelle and Andrew’s last April was just about the most romantic we have had the pleasure of being part of. The photos from their Neolithic site Irish Wedding blessing says it all.
