As we (excitedly) look forward to 2021, this week on the blog we take a look at some gorgeous color palettes that will be popular for 2021 and how they can work just perfectly in Ireland! I’m seeing a continued trend working with soft tones throughout 2020 and well into 2021, especially softer pinks, blues, greens, and lots of white. There will be a preference for a classic or contemporary classic aesthetic with a really pretty, calm vibe about the colors and overall presentation while earthy tones will be the bolder choices next year. This post will look at one of our featured style shoots at Kilruddery House & Gardens that perfectly expresses both the contemporary classic style and color palettes that will be popular for spring and summer in particular.  The overall presentation should feel beautiful, effortless, classic, romantic, and very calming. Here’s a great example how you can take a small riff on the colors. Pinks and peaches can transition into each other quite easily. Here we’ve tweaked the color palette slightly, focusing from the pinks more towards the peach tones. Something like tropical peach is a great softer peachy-pink tone that would be amazing for spring and summer (even very early fall) in Ireland, and pink champagne hits those soft pink tones. We also tweak the greens slightly to be more silvery toned.

  You can see how both pink and peach tones work beautifully with a range of greens, but in particular that silver tone of eucalyptus and sage are just absolutely stunning.
