As we enter the fall season, we are so excited to share with you a style shoot that perfectly captures the luxe colors of late summer/early fall! This time of year provides a tremendous amount of colors and textures to play with when conceptualizing your wedding day style, from softer tones to richer, deeper moody tones. They work beautifully with the backdrops Ireland has to offer, and this style shoot is one that just perfectly illustrates it.
Waterlily Weddings collaborated with Toronto based photographer Rose Gold Productions for this shoot. Rose Gold wanted to merge rustic with elegant in a castle setting: the juxtaposition of fruits and vegetables on the tablescape with polished gold cutlery and calligraphy struck that balance for this castle feast vibe. Kilkea Castle serves as venue backdrop, the imposing 12th century style castle instantly drives a classic or fairytale wedding theme. But when working in a more modern color palette, you can see how it can add a modern take on the timeless look that reads effortlessly romantic. Rich and detailed color palettes are a sophisticated way to express your details. In this style shoot, we merge neutral tones like soft peach, ivory, delicacy pink and sandstone and merge them with bolder hues of royal blue, topaz yellow, emerald green, and claret red. The depth of color is incredible and at once visually engaging and inviting.
Definitely a lot of inspiration here to get your started on how you can interpret your late summer/early fall wedding style!
