We are so excited to share with you Hollie & Keith’s wedding day! Again — after much rescheduling due to the covid pandemic, the big day finally arrived and was full of excitement, love, and a roaring good time. We helped design and conceptualize the day with Hollie, including a fabulous color palette of modern neutral tones and pops of gorgeous black that worked so beautifully at Ballymagarvey Village. The style was garden and boho, whimsical pampas grass a trendy and gorgeous detail. White orchids in the bouquets stunned and perfectly complimented Hollie’s gorgeous personal style. The Details

The vibe for the day was “relaxed, elegant, fun.” Hollie has a keen sense of personal style so we really brought that out throughout the elements of the day. The style was boho-garden: lots of fresh flowers with silvery eucalyptus tones and greenery complimented the already-garden style of Ballymagarvey. To hit the boho note, we used pops of pampas grass. This helped elevate the overall style to feel more whimsical and on trend. To modernize the style, we worked with a custom neutral color palette we carefully created for Hollie & Keith. Colors like sand, nude tones and warm earthy tones worked gorgeously against bright whites. Pops of black were unexpected and sleek, adding another layer of modern style that also felt very sophisticated. An example is Hollie’s black Jimmy Choo sandals — the peek-a-book black with her look helped to subtly tie the theme in.

A standout detail is the the ruffle cake custom-designed by Caroline Goulding. We were very specific for the exact style and colors we wanted to achieve for this element and she absolutely nailed it: the cake’s ruffle design has a sense of effortless movement and freedom that echoed Hollie’s dress (event though hers doesn’t have any ruffles!) and again the color palette was beautifully expressed here.

Unfortunately the outdoor ceremony was moved indoors last minute due to rain. Even still, the space was made cozy by the gorgeous floral designs by Frog Prince.

But the stunner was the reception space. Design-wise it was a challenge to work with the very rustic backdrop of Ballymagarvey and trying to give it a modern boho presentation. We leaned into the fairy lights and garden look, taking the eye up with overflowing pedestal arrangements and then again back down to the floor with meadow arrangements. The resulting 360 degree decor fully immersed the guests and transported them into a whimsical garden wonderland. We kept our color palette throughout the elements, and gave pops of gold and black on the tables. Of particular note, the gorgeous menus with vellum detail and personalization each featured a custom color we created for the day.

Laughter, tears, a ton of dancing and fireworks rounded out the celebrations for this amazing couple. Hollie and Keith were an absolute joy to work with and we are so happy their day finally arrived. We wish you both a gorgeous life together fully of happiness and much more dancing and FUN!
