We are so excited to share with you Katie & Dylan’s gorgeous wedding at Trump International Golf Links and Hotel in Doonbeg from this summer! We helped Katie & Dylan conceptualize, design, and execute this stunning wedding celebration that featured a classic color palette with lots of amazing details including a custom seating chart display design, displays, and much more. Bella Botanica was on hand to create the breathtaking florals for the day, featuring a stunning semi-circle meadow arrangement on the beach to serve as backdrop of the ceremony, a gorgeous full floral arch to welcome guests into the marquee reception, and much more. The Details

We helped design and plan Katie & Dylan’s gorgeous wedding day from start to finish. Katie was an incredible partner to work with, bringing lots of great creative ideas and willingness to source to make the specific look come to life. We started with the color palette. They wanted a classic and elegant style, but something that felt modern and fresh and inspired by the summer season. Mishy created a classic palette called “Elegant Ireland” that took inspiration from the abundance of greenery in Ireland, in particular from Doonbeg and the golf links, and included primary tones of summer white, eucalyptus, hunter green, and pops of shamrock, greenery, dark green and more. We accented with gold to warm the colors.

The vibe was a “rustic elegant,” merging a more botanical style on California Napa chic. Bella Botanica was on hand to create the stunning florals. We used a combination of round and farmhouse tables for the reception, choosing to accent simply with a white linen table runner. We did a mix of designs including compote centerpieces, rich flower and greenery garland, and lots of candles to keep the marquee room visually appealing and fresh. Classic beaded glass chargers with gold-rimmed glassware were the perfect combination. We worked towards a custom design concept for the menus, and Katie sourced wonderful acrylic table numbers to hit that modern, updated look we were going for.

The entrance to the marquee greeted guests in full regalia with a stunning full floral arch. The seating chart was also a custom design display, and Katie sourced the “cheers” sign for the bar for a simple and statement accent. The photo op display was also a custom design and a perfect modern touch again for the reception space.

The ceremony took place outside and featured a gorgeous semi-circle ground floral focal point for the couple, the ocean and beach behind serving and stunning natural backdrop.

Katie and Dylan’s day is a wonderful example of working smartly and creatively to achieve a polished and elegant look. The details were fresh, sophisticated, and elegant but also felt relaxed and very inviting – it enabled everyone to take in the gorgeous scenery but also feel relaxed enough to kick off their shoes and have a lot of fun!
