We are so excited to share with you an incredible castle wedding we had the pleasure of planning and producing! Bimal and Truett had their dream castle wedding at Kilkea Castle. Inspired by the television show The Crown, lots of great details went into this multi-cultural Indian-Celtic wedding. So incredible was the day, it was featured in non other than the New York Times wedding section! You can read more there!
Gorgeous flowers by Bella Botanica and fabulous photos by Moat Hill Photography.
The ceremony took place outdoors in the garden with the castle serving as backdrop. To help highlight the castle, a stunning semi-circular meadow-style floral arrangement decorated the top of the aisle. The bespoke ceremony was full of Irish and Indian traditions including a breathtaking horse entrance, exchanging flower garlands and the Irish handfast. And of course, lots of music and dancing to create the festive atmosphere!
Cocktail hour allowed the guests to explore the grounds and garden and take lots of pictures. The reception continued the purple-green theme with stunning classic style centerpieces by Bella Botanica and featured a gorgeous custom designed menu with castle sketch. Rich emerald green napkins were the perfect touch against the farmhouse style tables in the space. There were lots of fun interactive details for guests to play with for pictures, including a fabulous backdrop with custom neon sign. And the perfect finishing touch: fireworks!
Congratulations Bimal and Truett!
