We are delighted to share with you an absolutely stunning wedding at one of our favorite venues, Mount Juliet, that has so many incredible details you’ll sure to be inspired! Mary Claire and Andres’ gorgeous early fall wedding is a perfect example of how investing in the finer details can really elevate the overall presentation and experience for your guests on your wedding day. From the custom color palette we created to the exquisite florals by the always incredible Patsie & Co., to the stunning stationary and personal touches, this wedding perfectly hit every elegant note. It feels at once timeless and elegant. Gorgeous photography by the uber-talented Under the Veil.
The traditional Catholic ceremony took place in a church not far from the venue. We decorated in a traditional style, including a lush floral arrangement for the unity candle and stunning focal point urns, but the star of the show had to be the gorgeous entryway arch decor. The guests were greeted by a bagpiper to start the festivities.
After the ceremony, everyone gathered at Mount Juliet for a drinks reception that featured custom cocktails, an oyster bar, and a string quartet. The guests were invited to enjoy the stunning grounds while Mary Claire and Andres took their portraits.
The guests were then invited to make their way up to Hunters Yard for the reception. This rustic space continued the early autum garden theme and featured some breathtaking floral arrangements, lots of candles, and a stunning table setting style. The cake, created by Caroline Goulding, took inspiration directly from Mary Claire’s dress!
The Details
We began our planning with our styling services, and focused on a seasonal color palette that took inspiration from the early autumn season but that also felt timeless and elegant. We played with lots of green tones and accented with warmer browns like cinnamon, ochre, penny, and copper tones to hit that early fall vibe but in an elegant way. Patsie absolutely nailed the color palette in the floral expressions down to each leaf; we wanted to highlight textures, woodland, and garden details without feeling heavy and jungly. The stunning greenery centerpieces featured hanging tealights which added a soft glow into the evening. And touches of dark green candles were an unexpted modern pop on the tables. We continued accents of gold in the charger plates and kept a more traditional style for table cloths, napkins, and glassware to really swing the rustic tones in Hunters Yard more traditional and elegant. It worked beautifully. Finishing touches included custom menus by Appleberry Atelier (based in Ireland).
Mary Claire and Andres were stunning in their personal looks. And we love how the bridesmaids took a summer vibe in this early-fall/end-summer wedding with their floral dresses. It was a perfect bridge and worked beautifully with the color palette and overall style of the day!
