When we first received Dorothy’s email with questions about getting married in Ireland we knew this was going to be a very special wedding. Dorothy wanted a day in Ireland for just her and her fiancé, Sean. They wanted a Catholic wedding in a historic old church. A church wedding for two is quite unusual and we loved the idea of it. They also what to celebrate their wedding day in Ireland in a castle the likes of which you would never find anywhere else in the world! No problem. This is just the type of brief we love! Five months after that first email, after calls, after image boards and chats over the style of the day, Dorothy and Sean said I do in a church over 700 years old and celebrated their wedding in Waterford Castle! I think this note from the harpist sums up the day “I loved the ceremony. It was so dignified, so sincere. Margaret, the sacristan, said that she thought that it was a beautiful ceremony. I honestly think that it was one of the nicest days that I have ever played the harp at”.
