We are so excited to share with you one of our favorites, Jordan and Tim’s stunning garden wedding at Tankardstown! We worked with Jordan closely to develop a color palette featuring jewel tones. The style was a modern take on “granny vintage” — lots of great details like lace, silverware, and a stunning jewel toned chinoissiere pattern for the stationary suite and on the day stationary custom designed by Appleberry Atelier! Jordan’s dress was breathtaking, and the stunning floral talents are courtesy of Fleur. The custom cakes took inspiration from Jordan’s dress patterns and our garden theme, created by The Cake Cuppery. And stunning photos from Peter Carvill Photography.
The modern traditional ceremony took place in the breathtaking garden. We took heavy inspiration from the garden’s surroundings, creating focused floral arrangements and accents to help enhance the space rather than taking attention away from it. It was important to create a fully immersive experience for the guests featuring 360 degrees of breathtaking garden. Our jewel tone color palette expressed literally and confidently throughout the bridesmaids — each featuring their own standout color. We love this idea as it keeps a cohesive color palette while allowing for individual expression amongst your bridal party. To contrast, the groosmen all featured in the same outfit but had contrasting floral boutonnieres.
The reception took place inside where we continued the stunning garden theme. We styled the tables with a gorgeous soft blue lace pattern to hit that vintage vibe Jordan loves, and again leaned into the jewely tones. Appleberry Atelier created stunning stationary for the day including the menues and table numbers. And a little unexpected pheasant feather accent hit our bird details from the Chinoiserie pattern of the invitation suite. Again to hit the vintage note, we featured a lace patterend charger plate and vintage style silverware. Instead of a traditional tiered wedding cake, we took a modern twist by offering three individual cakes, each white and each featuring a pattern from Jordan’s dress.
Congratulations Jordan and Tim! You both were so wonderful to work with and for sure your life will be even more beautiful than your wedding day!
